Welcome to Shimada Koko

So, I sent out a bulletin announcing our website to others in Shizuoka-ken. I am also sharing this with high school students from El Cerrito High School, our sister school in California who have a Japanese language program. There are also other California students who are interested in learning more about school life in Japan. I want to welcome all of you to our website. Though we have had some technical difficulties during our internet time, we have tried our best to get this to you in a timely fashion. Our English conversation class only has 1 class period per every 2 weeks to use the computer room, so we will do our best to use the time efficiently so that we can share our thoughts with you, as well as pictures and other things that you may like to see. Both I and the students would love to hear your questions, comments and feedback about our site. If your school has a site, we would love to link up to it so that we can speak with each other.
Right now, we are in the middle of midterms, so our time is even more limited, however, during the rest of this month, we will be learning about Halloween and begin making our Halloween costumes for our party. We will share some pictures and hopefully video of our progress. My students and I would really enjoy hearing from you, and we would especially love to hear from other students interested in speaking English and Japanese with us. Bye bye, See You!
